A unit is either one email sent out, or one web response received. SySurvey's sliding scale is extremely flexible for any sized business, and makes topping-up your units easy.

As soon as you purchase your units using the WorldPay secure service, you will be sent a confirmation email with the price, a Syclick Order ID and a WorldPay Transaction ID. For more information on the WorldPay system, click on the WorldPay logo to your left.

| You will notice that if you are buying units for the first time (i.e. when you open an account), they are priced differently to ‘top-up’ units. Top-up units are additional units bought within 12 months of the original purchase. |

This pricing scheme helps those who are uncertain about how many units they expect to use up in a year, and rewards returning customers by charging additional units at a cheaper rate.

| For example, if your first purchase was 2,000 web units you would have been charged £520 at £0.26 a unit. A top-up of an additional 3,000 units will cost £690. This is because your additional units make your total purchase move up to the next price band (where 5,000 to 9,999 email units cost £0.23 each). Alternatively, if your top-up was an additional 10,000 web units units, the cost per unit would be £0.19 since your total purchase would fall into the 10,000 – 19,999 band. |

SySurvey units must be used up within the 12-month period from the day the account is set up. After the 12-month period the units are set to zero, but your account remains active.
